Safaris to Kruger National Park and other Tours

Description:

A full day or morning safari to Kruger National Park starts early at around 05:00 am on pick up. This gives visitors a very good change to view animals like the big 5, Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. Various birds and other animals like Hippo, Crocodile, Giraffe and Zebra can been seen as you travel to different areas in the Kruger Park during the day. You professional & experienced safari guide and driver will keep you informed and try to show you the best sightings during the day as possible. Kruger rest camps that will be visited during your full day trip depending on sightings might include: Skukuza, Lower Sabie, Pretoriuskop, Tshokwane & Nkuhlu picnic spots

Meals & Comfort stops:

During the full day we do stop for breakfast & lunch and regular comfort stops (Bathroom breaks).  For morning safari we do stop for breakfast and regular comfort stops (Bathroom breaks) and the afternoon safari, only comfort stops (Bathroom breaks).

What to bring along:

  • Camera – 200 to 400 mm lens recommended.
  • Extra batteries and memory cards, never know what you might see.
  • Binoculars
  • Bird & Mammal books or you can buy a map in the shop about Kruger Park
  • Sunscreen, as you will be out all day – The vehicle does have a canvas roof and sides.
  • Comfortable clothing – Mornings & late afternoons are cool and days can heat up.
  • Comfortable shoes no real major walking will be done on day safaris.
  • Cash for entrance and meals as Credit card machines might be off line sometimes.

The Blyde River Canyon is the 3rd largest canyon in the world and also the greenest with many waterfalls and scenic views.

  • Lens hire is available; booking must be made well in advance to ensure availability of equipment. (Equipment hired must be arranged no less than a week before departure and is for your own account.)

Inclusions:

  • This is a private tour, so only you and your companions on board to a max of 3 photographers and 3 non-photographer guests per day.
  • The rate is inclusive of the open safari vehicle, guide per day and mounted equipment on the vehicle.
  • Gimpro Stabilization Photographic Arm fitted to the vehicle; it helps to stabilize long lens
  • Large bean bag available on board for difficult angles and when we get out of the vehicle at a bird hide or in a camp.
  • The specialized vehicle does have electricity 220 volt on board to charge equipment if needed.
  • The guide will assist by getting you in the right position, helping with settings on camera if needed.
  • Tea/coffee/Mineral water included on board during the safari

Exclusions:

  • All meals, and purchases at restaurant and  shops
  • Standard Conservation/Entry fee into the Kruger National Park payable in cash at the gate.
